Sega of America y Sega Europa acaban de anunciar hoy un acuerdo con el estudio Petroglyph, gracias al cual crearán una nueva franquicia de juegos de estrategia en tiempo real (RTS) para PC. El estudio norteamericano Petroghlyph con sede en Las Vegas está formado en su mayor parte por antiguos miembros de Westwood (Command & Conquer, Red Alert), quienes actualmente están trabajando y ultimando Star Wars Empire at War, proyecto que comparten con LucasArts. Dicho acuerdo será a nivel mundial y exclusivo. Son escasos los detalles que se conocen de cómo será esta franquicia, aunque se sabe nos situará en un universo moderno y futurista en donde controlaremos unidades militares. Sega asumirá además la comercialización y distribución de la misma.

En cuanto conozcamos nuevos datos os los comunicaremos para que estéis puntualmente informados, aunque tendremos que esperar algún tiempo para ver sus primeras pantallas.
